Welcome to The Bear and Bells Way!

Hi, I'm Jade – the heart and soul behind this space where my passion for dogs and their humans comes to life. My mission is simple: to help you and your pup create a strong, loving bond based on trust, understanding, and joy. With experience and a deep love for all things canine, I'm here to guide you through every step of your journey together. 🐾

Meet My Inspirations: 🐾 Bear – My spirited pup who taught me so much about overcoming challenges and embracing patience. Through his journey with reactivity, he reminded me that every small victory counts, and consistency is key.

🐾 Bella – My sweet Staffy who gently shows me that every dog is unique. Bella's individual needs inspire me to tailor training methods that work specifically for each dog, helping them thrive in their own way.

At The Bear and Bells Way, we believe in training the dog in front of us. Every pup is different, and that's why we focus on creating a partnership built on respect and trust. Whether you're working through behavioural challenges or simply deepening your connection, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Let's create a harmonious bond with your dog, one paw at a time!

What We
Offer

01

Lose lead walking

Loose Lead Walking: Enjoyable Walks, Together

Loose lead walking creates a calm and enjoyable experience for both you and your dog. It helps your dog stay engaged and focused on you, rather than pulling or getting distracted. With positive reinforcement and consistent training, we’ll teach your dog to walk calmly by your side, making every walk a fun and stress-free outing.

03

Reactivity

Overcoming Reactivity: We Can Help

Reactivity can be challenging, but we’re here to help. Using positive reinforcement and gradual desensitization, we guide your dog to build confidence and respond calmly to triggers. With patience and consistency, we’ll help your dog overcome reactivity and enjoy more relaxed walks and interactions.

05

Relationship Building

Relationship Building: Strengthening Your Bond

A strong bond with your dog is key to successful training and a happy partnership. By focusing on trust, clear communication, and positive reinforcement, we help deepen your connection. This not only makes training more effective but also enhances your dog’s confidence, leading to a more harmonious relationship both at home and during outings.

02

Neutral Walking

Neutral Walking: Key to Calm Walks

Neutral walking helps your dog stay calm and focused, reducing pulling, lunging, and reacting to distractions. It encourages a relaxed posture, making walks more enjoyable for both of you. This approach strengthens your bond, improves communication, and teaches your dog to respond calmly to their surroundings, creating a more controlled and peaceful walking experience.

04

Crate Training

Crate Training: A Safe Haven

Crate training creates a secure, peaceful space for your dog. It helps with house training, prevents destructive behavior, and provides a cozy retreat. Using positive reinforcement, we make crate training stress-free, ensuring your dog feels comfortable and safe in their crate.

06

Group Neutral Walks

Group Neutral Walks: The Power of Walking Together

Group neutral walks are an incredible way to help your dog practice calm behavior in a social setting. Walking with other dogs in a controlled environment allows your dog to learn how to remain focused and relaxed, even with distractions around them. These walks encourage positive socialization, build confidence, and strengthen your dog’s ability to walk calmly on a leash. Plus, they’re a fun way for both you and your dog to bond with others in a safe and supportive group setting.

we'd recommend you to anyone you changed our perspective on training Enzo and he is doing so much better for it. If it wasn't for you, I'm not sure where we'd be now! He is becoming more receptive to the positive approach now he's less stressed around other dogs he just needed a bit more of the controlled approach first which worked. He's slowly getting to the stage where he will naturally sit when another dog walks past rather than pulling and stressing and we've been slowly phasing out the halti (depending on his mood ) xx
